The challenge: Raise $25,000 from new or “lost” donors. The outcome: We did it!
FFC would like to once again thank the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation for their generous matching grant opportunity which helped us to both add new donors and reconnect with former ones. 108 individuals in 2009 who had never given before donated a total of $13,828, and 78 donors who had not given in the past two years or longer gave a total of $10,456. (These totals do not include United Way or other workplace campaign contributions, or Ride To Provide donations.) Also, just this week we received an additional, unsolicited gift of $15,000 from the Foundation to support our work!
