Online Giving

FFC uses Network for Good to securely process its online donations. This service enables us to accept most major credit cards as well as debit transactions through PayPal. You may use this online service for individual gifts as well as for recurring gifts. Click here to donate online now!

Individual Gifts

You are welcome to make a monetary donation to FFC at any time throughout the year. You may make your gift securely online―or, if you’d prefer, by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Fan Free Clinic. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 6477, Richmond, VA 23230. (Please do not send cash through the mail.)

Recurring Gifts

Similar to individual gifts―but on a repeating schedule chosen by you. You may establish your recurring gift online or directly with FFC by contacting a member of our development team (see above). Remember: You may change your recurring gift payment schedule or cancel it altogether at any time.

Gifts Given in Honor or Memory

Gifts have special meaning when offered “in memory of” or “in honor of” those who have touched our lives. Consider paying tribute to someone special during the holidays, on a birthday or anniversary, or in recognition of any milestone. Be sure to provide your gift recipient’s name and contact information so that we can notify them of your thoughtfulness! Click here to give a gift in honor or memory of someone special!

Deferred Gifts

Gifts made as part of your estate plans are accepted by FFC. Whether you add a codicil to your will or establish a charitable gift annuity―these gifts have a significant and lasting impact by helping FFC to plan for the future. Please contact John Baumann, Executive Director, at (804) 358-6343 ext. 105 for information about these additional ways to support Fan Free Clinic and the people it serves.

Sample of bequest language for a codicil to add to your will:

“I, [NAME], of [CITY/COUNTY of STATE, ZIP CODE], give, devise and bequeath to Fan Free Clinic, Inc. [WRITTEN DOLLAR AMOUNT or PERCENTAGE OF THE ESTATE or DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”

Charitable Gift Annuities

Establishing a charitable gift annuity (CGA) is a wonderful way to secure steady payments for yourself while providing benefits for charitable organizations. Although most people think of insurance companies when they think of annuities, Fan Free Clinic also offers annuities. They are called “charitable gift annuities” because, as a charitable organization, we make payments to you for your lifetime. A CGA is a gift vehicle that pays you a predetermined amount each year for the rest of your life. (Your age is factored into the calculation to determine your payment—generally, the older the donor, the higher the payment.) The gift can be established with cash, securities or other property, and in return you receive fixed payments quarterly or annually.

Community Campaigns

FFC is pleased to participate in the following community giving campaigns:

  • United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg – Code #2028
  • Local Government & Schools Campaign – Code #7322
  • Combined Federal Campaign – Code #52481
  • Combined Virginia Campaign – Code #3396

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match (either dollar-for-dollar or a certain percentage 0f) their employees’ contributions to non-profit organizations. Please check with your company’s human resources office and request a matching gift form. Simply complete the form and forward it to FFC (either with your contribution or shortly after making a gift online.) FFC will handle the rest!
