Fan Free Clinic was delighted to gather the community and our supporters for an evening of recognition and enrichment in the beautifully healing atmosphere of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 6PM-8PM. Wellness in Bloom explored the connection between health, the community and gardens.
Frank Robinson, CEO and president of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, spoke to the healing power of gardens in communities.
Three honorees-Dr. June Henderson, Dr. Christopher Kogut, Richmond City Councilwoman Dr. Cynthia Newbille-were recognized for their contributions in healthcare and community wellness with the Exceptional Dedication and Service award.
In addition to our community-minded sponsors listed, we would like to thank the Richmond band OFFERING for providing music for the evening and Sid Koerin for his photography.
